The Wheel for

There are several
layered themes in The Matrix closely aligned with at least 7
key Tarot Trump themes. They connect through the name
'Trinity.' Read more below.

TRINITY
Carrie-Anne takes the role of Trinity, a
unique, independent, brilliant heroine destined to become
the partner of Neo, 'The One.' She plays many parts in The
Matrix trilogy, and shows how beauty and power combine
gracefully when cultivated in the same garden. The name Trinity
travels with a different set of connotations before, and after,
the inception of this age, the Piscean Era. Carrie-Anne manages to
do justice to both ancient and modern versions of the archetype.
[The Four Cardinal Virtues, Temperance, Fortitude, Prudence,
Justice]
One central thread that runs through The
Matrix concerns the numbers that dominate certain scenes,
situations, and events, pre-and-post Piscean era patterns. The
Matrix opens as Trinity calls Neo, by computer, from the
'Heart 'o the City' Hotel, [Room 303?.] He is at home [his
apartment is # 101] catching some zzzzs, waiting for a late
visitor. After an exchange at the door Neo ultimately decides to
answer the 'Wake Up' call that instructs him to follow the white
rabbit. It appears Trinity is in Room #303 when she logs on,
the same room Neo is later directed to as an exit. The number #303
indicates both Trump VI and the 33 Master Destiny vibe that
belongs to spiritual teachers.
Trump VI [#6] references pre-creation, the
initial status of both Trinity and Neo at the beginning of the
trilogy, as individuals and as the companions they will become by
the last act of the film. As a super number #33 is not reduced
lower than that value. The transformative #33 imparts spiritual,
psychological, and emotional power to both characters,
individually and as a couple. Both are able to realize, and join
in community with, their higher angels. There is also a subtle
message that seems to suggest we are sometimes drawn to powerful
locations* before we consciously cognize on the energy that
resides there.
TRINITY IN THE REEL WORLD
 Our modern trinity
is most often described as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit -- the
love between Father and Son. The Holy Spirit is traditionally
considered feminine [Law, Sophia] in the world of theology,
however the exoteric world thinks of the Paraclete** as masculine.
Carl G. Jung points out our current 'political family' association
familiar to those who labour in the field, bound by patriarchal
lines of thought.
"In the psychology of the functions there are
two conscious and therefore masculine functions, the
differentiated function and its auxiliary, which are represented
in dreams by, say, father and son, whereas the unconscious
functions appear as mother and daughter... It was in keeping with
this psychological fact that the Holy Ghost should be heretically
interpreted as Sophia, for he was the mediator of birth in the
flesh, who enables the deity to shine forth in the darkness of the
world. No doubt it was this association that caused the Holy Ghost
to be suspected of femininity, for Mary was the dark earth of the
field - "illa terra virgo nondum pluviis irrigata: [that virgin
earth not yet watered by the rains], as Tertullian called
her."
When Neo first meets Trinity in person at a
local club, he mentions that everyone knows of her exploits
[compromising the IRS Data Base] but always assumed 'Trinity' was
a man. In this vein, when Trinity transits the Matrix, she dons a
wardrobe that seems to harness the power of Terra Firma
herself, consistent with her Trump II and Trump VI personae.
The underground central core where Zion is located also suggests
safe and secure Mother Earth, although it holds measured raw
materials available to its citizens. Trinity favours the colours of an Earth
Mother: rich, sparkly black [soil] and vibrant green [raining code
of the Matrix itself] and her 'real world' attire as the Neb
co-pilot.
Layers of the pre-Piscean power triad run
parallel to the Christian version. We know of the Triple Goddess
in her variety, currently the highlight of excavations around the
globe. The architect, builder, and engineer identify the Mother,
Father, and Offspring, or alternately, Father, Mother, and
Offspring, as the foundation of civilization. The Egyptian Temple
preserves the family arrangement as follows:
THE MOTHER AND FATHER The
Goddess Isis [laws of nature/science] is the original Trump II
[Priestess seated before the Temple] and is both Virgin and
Mother. Her influence on the priestess-chantress archetype is
almost totally forgotten today. The God Osiris [agriculture,
irrigation - natural, personal and spiritual alchemy] rescued the
people and taught them to grow wheat and grapes. Osiris is
sometimes thought of as forerunner of ancient priests who
sacrificed with bread and wine.
It is important to note The Matrix
relationship between both 'parent' powers, barely composite
figures, when Persephone enters the scheme of things in the role
of Psychopompus. The soul guide has traditionally represented an
alchemical Mercurius, as well as the Holy Spirit. Because
Veiled Isis and Persephone both symbolize Trump II, but not Trump
VI, the storyline holds the characters to a rigid system during
the scene where Trinity and Persephone clash. Yet, both Trump II
principles sort out their power struggle issues - with a little
help from their friends. In the third film all the characters
fully expand. They can then infuse their environment with their
personal energy, redefine power lanes [see Niobe run an electrical
track to the Zion gate] and recreate the capitols in the center
spotlight [see Neo in a world of diffused light.] Conversely,
Persephone is framed as a delicate spirit with a shell like
exterior, forever trapped in an environment that does not offer
her what she wants, nor can she influence her surroundings. By the
time the sun rises in Revolutions, the inside numbers
play in their higher octave mode throughout The Matrix.
 THE OFFSPRING The
triangle is electric [lightning is a form of fire] so its change
to a square or cross [magnetic earth] realigns every spark of
energy that is involved in the story. Dramatic power shifts take
place continually during the course of the trilogy.
The Offspring is usually thought of as the
eldest child. In most cultures the firstborn is "offered" in
service to God in the temple. The next child may change the
original triangle formula to a cross four sided figure, suggesting
the four elements will flow from the centre. The second child
usually enters the picture once the first child is secure in
his/her position. The process of transformation is often an
operation that proceeds to its culmination on the dream plane,
during the Age of Pisces.
Initially, when Neo is rescued by Morpheus
and crew, tension seems to generate a feeling of sibling rivalry
between some shipmates [obvious friction generated by Cipher
toward Neo] with a new pecking order on the Neb. It has been
said the greatest tragedies in our history can be tracked back to
the interpretation of personal presence as a threat.
In The Matrix Reloaded, we meet Niobe,
another earthy, independent, and capable hovercraft pilot.
She sets up the precise reference to Trump VI, often portrayed as
a white and black couple. The two figures who represent [Two
Paths] both paradigms on either side of the center of the card
have bi-polar compliments. Automatically we intuit the two
couples, black and white. Neo and Trinity fulfill their destiny as
the active/initiating team given the opportunity to pilot the
Logos [Niobe's ship] to the Machine City. At the same time,
Morpheus and Niobe race to Zion in Mjollnir, ['The Hammer' -
Thor's lightning used against the giants] to defend the last human
city against the Sentinel army. [See ship plaques below.] The
white couple [Neo-Trinity] and the black couple [Morpheus-Niobe],
bring their plan together and establish a realistic truce with the
machines. Numerically, this perfect [and sustainable] balance is
symbolized by the number 8, the "314 seconds" the
Keymaker said the crew had to reach the source of their answers in
Reloaded. The Matrix Revolutions concludes there is hope on
the anvil for successful cooperation between human and machine
destinies on the horizon.
TRINITY
AND THE MATRIX
When asked
about what The Matrix meant to her, Carrie-Anne recalled a
personal moment during early school years:
When I
first met the guys [Larry and Andy] I had not read the script, but
had got the vibe of it from a couple of scenes that I had
auditioned for. I got the script right after that and when I read
it, it reminded me of one time at school when a teacher proposed
this question to the class: 'What if, right now, our sitting in
this classroom is just a dream? What if our lives are just
dreams?' And in that moment, even though we didn't have big
discussions about it, a seed was planted in my mind: it was the
first time I thought that maybe life is not the way I was told and
taught, maybe things are different. You grow up believing in
evolution or religion or that the world is flat, and whatever
you've been told is what you believe. I thought that day it could
be something different, something I'm not aware of. Sometimes I'll
be walking through life and I'll go, "Am I dreaming? How do I know
this isn't a dream?" That's kind of the Matrix.
Carrie-Anne
always wanted to pursue acting, and at age 11 [1978= Personal 9
Year] she made her acting debut in the Vancouver children's
musical theater. Her high school years were spent at Magee
Secondary School, where she toured Europe with the school choir.
During her
Personal 3 Year, Carrie-Anne auditioned for The Matrix, and
proved to the film's directors that she could undergo the grueling
physical work for the film. Named Best Actress in a Leading Role
with a Golden State Award for The Matrix, Carrie-Anne
expanded her film roles in projects like The Crew,
Memento, Red Planet, and the critically-acclaimed
Chocolat. All these roles were in the year 2000, during a
Personal 4 Year. She enjoyed an exact conjunction between her Sun
in Leo, the 'star maker' Regulus [the royal star], and her Mercury
in Leo within 1 degree of Sol. Unfortunately, Carrie-Anne
also felt the shift of Saturn to the sign Gemini, in a mischievous
square to her late Leo power point just at the door that leads to
Virgo. Her ankle suffered an injury during an accidental twist
while performing rigorous stunt work for the first film.

1 tablespoon

FOR CHOCOLATE
CUSTARD: COMBINE cornstarch, sugar and salt in medium
saucepan. Gradually add milk. Whisk in egg yolks. Bring to boil,
stirring constantly, then stir one minute and remove from
heat. Quickly add rum and 1 1/2 C chocolate chips; stir
until all melted. Press plastic wrap on surface;
refrigerate.
FOR TRIFLE:
BEAT cream and sugar until stiff peaks form. Cut cake into 1/2-inch
thick slices. Cut one slice into thin strips; reserve for top. In
2-quart straight-sided bowl, layer half cake slices, half crème de
cacao, half jam, half chocolate custard and half whipped cream.
Repeat cake, crème de cacao, jam and chocolate custard layers. Top
with reserved cake strips, remaining whipped cream, and remaining
morsels. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Garnish with raspberries; sprinkle
with cocoa.

Canyon the Sun and the Moon were both gods and family, 'Earth
Mother' and 'Father Sun-Father Moon,' like the parents of the people
who occupy Chaco Canyon. Tourists are
drawn to a sacred place, not always with an understanding of why
they are there. If time is important there is not always time to
remain long enough to absorb the essence of the sacred ceremonies in
the spiritual temples. After people return home, unpack, and develop
their pix something comes to them. The opportunity at the site was
so great the potential for action did not 'compute' at the moment.
The Zion power set in the trilogy suggests this type of powerful
relationship - an individual making the connection with
important subtle energy locations.
