Jeffrey Wigand [Russell Crowe]: You fought for me? You manipulated me! Into where I am now - staring at the Brown & Williamson building, it's all dark except for the tenth floor. That's the legal department, that's where they fuck with my life!
Lowell Bergman: Jeffrey, where are you going with this? Where are you going? (Pause) You are important to a lot of people, Jeffrey. You think about that, and you think about them. (Pause) I'm all out of heroes, man. Guys like you are in short supply.

     Metaphysical exercises may support the standard [re: dialogue between Bergman and Wigand linked to The Book of Joel, Chapter 1, The Plague of Locusts 1].

     They may support the challenge [Kerouac and Cassady] themes that function at the level of status quo v correction - so the perception is in harmony with the present time window.

      The steward, speaking as Bergman-Wigand, is associated with the element of earth: Trump II, Trump VI, and Trump X, in particular Trump VI, named The Two Paths or Temptation, in most decks. The steward, as the presence of Kerouac-Cassady, is associated with the element of air: Trump III, Trump VII, and Trump XI. The book, ON THE ROAD, specifically presents an allusion to Trump VII The Chariot. Kerouac and Cassady created a force greater than the sum of the two, however, so that their relationship with each other, and the United States during the mid-Twentieth Century, is a presumptive jump to the reformer, Trump XI, named Strength or The Enchantress, in most decks.

     Neal Cassady, an Aquarian champion ahead of his time, acquired a group of admiring fans early in life, as Kerouac's real life intrepid partner who inspired the 'Dean character' in, ON THE ROAD. Many readers of the 'beat bible' came to think of Neal as Dean. They constantly requested a 'Dean rap.' An ever-pleasing adaptive speaker, Neal developed characters that constituted an ideal 'Neal-Dean' composite, suitable for any social gathering. His range of scripting evolved into a full spectrum vocal counterpart to Moon Dog's musical catalog that worked in any circumstance.

       

 

     Carl Jung writes,  What is particularly interesting... is the parallel between the lapis or the aqua sapientum and the second Adam, which connects Christ -- through the quotation in Senior [n.147] --with the alchemical doctrine of the Anthropos: Christ is identified with the homo philosophicus, the Microcosm, the "One that dieth not, and bringeth alive anything dead." The homo philosophicus appears to have two meanings: he is the "One," i.e., the tincture or elixir of life, but he is also the everlasting inner man, identical or at least connected with the Anthropos. [This doctrine is elaborated by Paracelsus.]

     Martin Luther King, Jr., [referring to Mahatma Gandhi and his philosophy of non-violence] said, "Jesus gave me the message, Gandhi showed me the method."

     People close to Martin Luther King, Jr. also observed the test of deep spiritual loneliness. It seems to land on the doorstep of the prophet, shaman, and leader in the person men who, like King, must solve unique problems and travel in the desert of leaders, alone, far from cheering crowds and the press. King worried for himself and his family and for future generations, "I have a dream, that my four little children will grow up in a nation where they will not judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

     Deeper concern for the future of the human condition is vividly portrayed when The Insider, Jeffrey Wigand, is informed his interview will not air on 60 Minutes, as guaranteed. A brief snippet of film and a short segment on TV would not have compensated him for all he put on the line for truth. But the show would have justified some amount of loss. The open door into the mind of Wigand gives us  a glimpse of what all  leaders are required to endure  - 'night of the soul' tests. The midnight of the soul, linked with Trump XVIII The Moon, defines the  demanding test for a leader who is also a teacher-prophet.

     If we take on the establishment, our inevitable trial in solitude will occur in a personal 'quiet room,' like the one designed for Wigand and others before him. Moses, Buddha, Spartacus, Christ, El Cid, Krishnamurti, JFK, Martin Luther King, Jr., RFK -  silent time with a ticking clock. This basic theme may appear surreal; it can be found portrayed in classic movies such as High Noon, in which the clock almost comes alive.

     Right, 0/22 The Fool from Mark Ryan's Greenwood Tarot, refers to 'Robin of Sherwood' symbolism. Mark Ryan 3, took on the role of Nasir, the first Arab member of Robin's company in green.  Alluded to in, 'Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves,' by Morgan Freeman's role, the historical character suggests the presence of bleed-through Crusade themes in that era of cultural transformation.

     Ryan's subtle deck prompts ancient and modern symbols to coalesce and convey the Mothman effect as it has been traditionally associated with the zone. Unlike the sandpaper texture experienced through, The Mothman Prophecies, this perception of the ancient guardian is true to the gentle power and blessing that stems from the way of the earth children of Herne, who is Lord of The Trees. The labyrinth circuits, melded with the figure's aeytheric pose, are reminiscent of the Chartres Labyrinth and ancient sacred places throughout Britain and Europe.

Some suggestion exists at sacred sites in upper Loch Ness groves that a Lunar-Mars and an Earth-Mars simpatico the same as this has influenced colonies in highlands of the region. Moon and Mars ratio formula scales have long been sought by adventurers and pioneering spirits for their Herculean harmonics, most frequently the gifts of endurance and physical strength.

Below right, symbol of national triad of Leto-Apollo-Artemis, thought to date to the 7th Century B.C.  The three spirals within the circle represent the cycles of associated with law, time, and handwriting in the heavens. Mother Goddess rule seems more intertwined with the eclipse cycle, at least shortly before the warrior pantheon put down it's roots. Another art source that suggests the mundane world cycle is the Tibetan Mandala, often drawn in sand, like the sand paintings of the Native American Indians, especially in Pacific Southwest locations.

     “If you have no goals, dreams, or aspirations, go home and ask yourself why,” said Jackie Joyner-Kersee. “When that door of opportunity opens, make sure you are prepared.”  

     Jackie Joyner-Kersee holds the world record in the heptathlon. She is considered in most circles the greatest living woman athlete. The Olympic competition level demands study of the zone itself and any way the athlete is able to prolong the zone experience and perform gold medal feats in world stage competitions. There is no known door into the zone to date. So discipline in the sport arena is the art of remaining in the zone if you enter.

       

THE MILITARY ERA
    
     The Mahabarata, the great mythological Indian epic,  shows us the complex structure of our modern ladder system.

• The Last Samurai, The Lord of the Rings, and First Knight are inspiring Piscean Era films that take us inside the zone. One of the best examples of zone consciousness is David Lean's, Lawrence of Arabia, the life of T. E. Lawrence [played by Peter O'Toole].

• The power of renown boy wizard Harry Potter enables him to master the Patronus Charm. Harry conjures the brilliant light to save his godfather from the Dementors, in Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban, and later will train Dumbledore's Army in, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.  J. K. Rowling's Wizarding World is another paradigm with its own magic enactment board. Most images emerge from Rowling's  formula within the realm of Aquarius, although her foundation is rooted   somewhere deep in Piscean tradition.

• Piscean symbols are usually heart associated, linked with the sign Pisces, ruler Neptune, the sign Leo, ruler Sol, and the Spring Equinox:
  the heart center [arteries into and out of the heart] and eyes
  dialogue within the heart, between our divine and mortal voices
  search for the beloved

       

CONSTRUCTION--DECONSTRUCTION--DESTRUCTION

The zone in its constructive and destructive form could be viewed better as a study of the wizards Gandalf the Grey and Saruman the White. If you are in The Matrix you will meet Morpheus or Cipher - both represent the zone in its best and worst modes - loyalty and disloyalty, harmony and chaos. Obviously, Morpheus [Laurence Fishburne] is the positive upper octave Lunar expression as Pluton, the Dis Pater, rich Lor d of The Underworld. Cipher represents the destructive face of the template, and an adversary the exorcist must properly dispatch. Harry Potter foiled 'you know who' and disbursed dementors, as Arthur dispatched Malagant. The same formula overlays the path to victory in David Lean's masterpiece, Lawrence of Arabia. In the casual beginning scenes we are introduced to Lawrence [Peter O'Toole] as a map maker. The "real world"  legend  corresponding to Arthur of Camelot plays the exorcist-knight [Trump I & Trump IV, and Trump VIII combined in an effort to correctly balance the two temple pillars.]

     Peter O'Toole already grasped 'the zero' at the time he interfaced with Claude Rains in Cairo, prior to his first remote desert outing. Off-handed gestures camouflage actual cognizance, careful costume design and body language effectively serve to conceal the true identity of Lawrence. This film is highly recommended for students of the Tarot.

     Map makers understand people and their countries – their boundary lines. The 0 was not used by Romans because they didn’t recognize boundary lines. The Roman army believed what they wanted they could own. It was theirs - essentially already theirs when they wanted it. Boundary lines between countries didn’t exist for them. The suggestion of awareness of place and appropriateness reinforces the character of Nathan Muir [Robert Redford] in Spy Game. Muir is always at work in an area filled with maps. That is another story to take on someday!

     In The Last Samurai, Tom Cruise [linked with Tiger symbolism, an essential earth directive] takes us inside the zone to the intellect and spirit of the "no mind" state- the centre of the zone, where the view is outward. We are with him when he opens a door to this elusive power of supervision. The zodiacal ray frequently associated with this 'magic' door is guarded by the Intelligence of the Moon [Gabriel]; the sign is Moonchild, anciently referred to as Cancer. [See The Book of Daniel and The Book of Enoch for further insight in cyclic references.]

     The popular symbols for the sign include any shellfish [usually crab and a nautilus shell], a pair of tongs, and the door. Tom Cruise is a native son of this Moon sign, governing collective consciousness in the level 8 sleep state and the implications that lead to REM; Cruise manages to proficiently lift concealing veils with illuminating juxtapositions for resolution of Lunar template vs the Mars template themes. He also "plays" with the wolf/coyote archetype [originally as Anubis, Egyptian god of medicine and psychology] in Collateral. In Native American mythology, these power animals represent directions - quadrants on the universal map.

     If we fail to infuse operational systems with the proper Moon-Mars ratio we suffer losses, as portrayed by Black Hawk Down, and The Wind and The Lion, and no longer gain control at zone consciousness level. When we make a selection prior to centering, we can lose "the initiative" - often at the moment is least conducive to survival. Proper Moon-Mars ratio selections for strategy are essential for success [if a team is to work together] in advance of a confrontation. C. S. Lewis carefully goes through these rules of the game in The Screwtape Letters [see Chapter XV], and Chronicles of Narnia.

     Mastery of equilibrium between masculine and feminine principles during the Piscean Era is suggested by power tools that prompt reflection on the part of the viewer, such as a mirror, revolving sphere, and crystal ball. The combined virtues of upper octave sensory illumination and power, represented in the ancient world as a vulture and cobra in the crown of the ruler, was indication of higher soul powers directed by a conscious will. During the Age of Pisces, Mars is often defined as the excellent soldier, "who has the discipline to obey orders and avoid matters which have no bearing on warfare. Such niceness of taste may lead him into strange pathways..."  Many modern men believe that to maintain the harmony of zone consciousness would mean a severe block to effectiveness.

 

     The gold disc above is in motion, spinning and turning, like the suit of disks and pentacles. The reference is to the constant twists and spiral, clockwise arc. The movement is to facilitate forms attempting to manifest in the physical realm, often utilizing available transparent [and other] waves. The pattern may be adapted to an electric or magnetic thought.

Power Tools: Metals and power stones of each zodiacal sign serve as the raw materials for amulets and talismans. These objects help us focus thought and develop concentration. An example is the sculptured Pharaoh offering to Maat, Goddess of Justice, Truth, and Beauty during a "walk through the underworld" similar to Tutankhamon on a black panther, as she walks in akasha in the afterlife.  Root words for labyrinth like, 'troi' meaning spiral dance or pathway take us to any three dimensional sacred journey represented by the design of Glastonbury Tor and other European sacred places.  The spirals on the horn as the sacred symbol, move in two directions simultaneously, as in labyrinth designs. One energy moves from the centre around the horn to the edge and the other energy runs exactly parallel in the opposite direction. The point where both principals converge is the center, referred to by Carl Jung as the centre of being.

AHEAD OF THE CURVE     In dreams, the turning arc reminds the intuitive self of parent-child relationships that pre-date Olympus, usually the mother and her twin offspring. Demeter, her son Triptolemus, and daughter Kore form an important triad from the Greek; Aditi with her twins Mitra and Varuna survive in India, and ancient Titaness Leto, with whom the symbol is usually associated, is represented with her twins Artemis and Apollo everywhere from Delphi to the far north. Other triads include Isis, Osiris, and Horus in Egypt; sky conscious immortals in Greece Hera, Zeus, and Pallas Athena are translated to Roman codes as Juno, Jupiter, and Minerva. They represent the two physical eyes and the spiritual sight in the occult anatomy. There is something reminiscent in the mother, father, offspring triad in the art of Escher, Klee, Dali and most surrealists. By way of triad association, we have intersections enabling Trump XIX THE SUN to interface with Trump 0/22. The Twin Flame concept in metaphysics is another, higher octave version of balance between masculine and feminine principles to include transmigration of souls as a factor within the belief system. Eccentricity and not madness is the reality of the zone - when linked with Trump 0/22 other possibilities also appear. The difficult problems in any society must sometimes be shelved until a cure or solution is available. One such example is the zone provided for the Krypton court system by Krypton's elders. 

 

Neo airborne [transcendent] from "Reloaded" suggestive of higher octave super-powers usually bestowed by Pegasus, The Phoenix (stones: topaz, yellow diamond; wood-acacia, ash) or The Paraclete (stones: emerald and turquoise; wood-sandalwood, myrtle).

       

 

*   The third act of the television series, 'Robin of Sherwood' delves deeper in the traditional treasure trove of the Misty Isles. The whole forerunning mythology of Scotland, introduced via two-parter 'The Time of The Wolf' confronts the legendary Pictish Nation in Scotland. Scholars believe a Scot community that existed around 8,500 B.C., entered by way of Spain and France and at least partially integrated with the spirit of the land. They worked with stone engineer techniques that suggest that were builders of many great monuments,  chambered cairns and power sites which dot the Scottish countryside. Visit Pictish Arts Society.

*** Notes from Arda Encyclopedia relating background information about palantíri [Seeing-stones, Seven Stones, Stones of Seeing] follows:  There were originally seven palantíri in Middle-earth (there were evidently others in Aman, too). Three of these were definitely lost or destroyed: those of Annúminas, Amon Sûl and Osgiliath. The Stone of Elostirion in the Tower Hills was taken back to Aman on the Ring-bearers' White Ship. The Anor-stone and the Orthanc-stone both survived into the Fourth Age.  Aragorn with Palantír.

The fate of the seventh, the Ithil-stone, is not completely certain. It was in Barad-dûr> during the War of the Ring, and was most likely destroyed in the downfall of Ithil-stone also survived into the Fourth Age.

Just Passing Through Dept. - Subject: Ya Never Know

A middle aged woman has a heart attack and is taken to the hospital. While on the operating table she has a near death experience. During that experience she sees God and asks if this is it. God says no and says she has another 30-40 years to live. Upon her recovery she decides to just stay in the hospital and have a face lift, liposuction, breast augmentation, and a tummy tuck. She even has someone come in and change her hair color. She figures since she's got another 30 or 40 years she might as well make the most of it. She walks out the hospital after the last operation and is killed by an ambulance speeding up to the hospital. She arrives in front of God again and asks, "I thought you said I had another 30-40  years?" God replies, "That was because I didn't recognize you."
